Head of Quality Assurance: Wiley Online Library: - Managing a number of senior test leads in UK, Russia, India, and Singapore. - Management of project QA resources and environments, determining priorities and allocation where appropriate, including offshore testing team and vendor resources.- Defined and implemented test frameworks across the organisation. - Co-ordinating software release from QA environments to deployments to production. This was then handed over to the new Release Manager as a part of the transition.- Report on the overall status of the programme of projects to senior stakeholders. - Audited and signed off test documents, such as: Test Strategy, Test Approach and Test Plans for individual projects.- Working closely with Scrum Masters, Project & Programme Managers, senior Business Analysts to ensure project development and releases are complying with standards and release schedule.- Reviewing project schedules, in coordination with Project Managers and Release Management Team.- Development of full scale project plans and associated project reports delivering on a monthly release cycle. QA & Interim Release Manager:- Co-ordinating software release from QA environments to deployments to production.- Providing support to the development of the Wiley Online Library system and ensuring effective compliance to regulatory, legislative and contractual business requirements.Hands-on QA Test Lead:- Coordinating Functional, System Integration, End-to-End and Acceptance Testing in relation to large-scale, n-tiered integrated systems. - Verification of a new payment gateway, content management system, and Mark Logic upgrades.- MarkLogic interrogated using XQueries on ML QueryConsole 5.0. Developed on a Java / CORBA / XML / SGML / Sybase / Oracle / Solaris platform using Agile principles.- JIRA administration.
