Served as an AmeriCorps member at Valparaiso High School Media Center in Valparaiso, Indiana. Provide technical assistance to Valparaiso High School students accessing technology at campus media lab. Maintain up to date knowledge of computer software and hardware systems utilized by School Corporation. Assist students in using computers for tasks assigned by faculty. Set up and take down computer stations in Laboratory setting. Maintain and enforce school corporation policies and procedures, while safeguarding confidential and restricted information.

Present subject matters to students following the direction of teacher, by using lectures, discussions and planned lesson materials. Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to help them master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.

Oversee the daily Performance of computer systems. Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operations to resolve problems and set up equipment for student use and staff. Conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems, or to provide technical assistance and support. Install and perform minor repairs to hard-ware, software, or peripheral equipment following design or installation specifications.
