Hi, my name is Thomas!Today, I bring transformation to companies, helping them understand diversity not only as a social issue but also as a way to bring economic benefits.I am a Trans man, born in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, and through volunteer work, education, and communication, I started to develop essential topics for leadership development. I am a columnist for Valor Econômico and Thinking Work Lab, and was recognized as one of the 100 HR professionals to follow by RH Summit and one of the 50 to follow in 2023 by Gama Academy.When I entered the HR field, I realized the importance of raising awareness among leaders about topics like becoming a strategic leader, soft skills, and D&I (Diversity and Inclusion) within companies.I believe that activism for the sake of activism doesn't work, and diversity shouldn't be used just as rhetoric but as a solution for companies that want to be more competitive in their markets and more profitable. Diverse companies have happy employees and therefore achieve greater financial returns.I address these topics in a light, easy-to-understand way, which ends up creating an emotional impact on people, as including those who are underrepresented is my life’s purpose.Through LinkedIn, as a content creator, I develop and bring up topics on leadership, HR, and D&I. In 2021, I became a LinkedIn Creator and joined a community of relevant content creators on the platform.
