About Nadia Efimova

When I first looked through a microscope 20 years ago, I was captivated by what I saw. It was my first attempt at sample preparation, and to be honest, it wasn’t perfect—there was damage, and some areas were blurry. But even so, that simple staining for microtubules and nuclei felt like a glimpse into another world. From that moment on, I was drawn to microscopy and the unique perspective it offers. This passion has driven me to develop my skills in microscopy, both as a scientist and as an artist, leading to numerous publications and awards in Nikon’s Small World photomicrography competitions. I specialize in imaging, data analysis, and the characterization of complex cellular systems. My expertise lies in creating advanced imaging and data analysis workflows, as well as integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance therapeutic development and support drug discovery.I am deeply committed to contributing to a wide range of discovery initiatives and am passionate about sharing my knowledge with colleagues to foster collective growth and success.
