I am an experienced Administrator/Finance Officer/Secretary with strong work ethics, who is extremely hard working, conscientious and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. I am organised, work well under pressure and am fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including qualifications in advanced word and excel. I have a "can do" attitude and work well as part of a team and individually. My current and previous roles have been varied, challenging and rewarding and due to the successful completion of Plymouth University's Acceleration Through Innovation Project, I am delighted to report that I've now started a new role of Registry Administrator with the Cornwall College group (Camborne) from July 2023!The Group is the largest education and training provider in the region, with over 15,000 learners each year, 2,000 of whom are studying a university programme.The achievements of the Cornwall College Group are plentiful and their proven track record of almost 20,000 apprentices in fifteen years makes them the most successful provider of work based learning in Devon and Cornwall, they're not referred to as the career college for nothing!Cornwall College has campuses in Camborne, Newquay and St Austell and also as part of The Cornwall College Group, has specialist land-based and marine partner colleges, Duchy College, Bicton College and Falmouth Marine School across the region. They also have a dedicated Engineering Skills Centre in Plymouth, a Professional Skills Centre at St Mellion Resort and a training partnership with the world famous Eden Project. I'm proud to now be a part of this prestigious establishment.On a personal level I'm also an aspiring wildlife photographer and relish any opportunity that I get to go out and about with my camera. I consider myself extremely lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world and to have discovered such a rewarding hobby. Since taking up photography a few years ago I now see everything through new eyes and notice things that I never would have noticed before. I've found that interacting with wildlife is the most humbling and fulfilling experience and I can't recommend it enough.
