I have been a classroom teacher of fifth and sixth grade students while working with K-8 ESL students. It is my passion to serve the ESL community, and develop English competent future leaders. I enjoy managing students, building a culture where the students are equally invested in their learning and classroom management. I empower students as peer tutors, step out of their comfort zone, and achieve their goals. Communicating with the families, teachers, community members and anyone who will align for a child's accountability and success is the key to my success. I am currently developing a mentor program for young girls. My passion is to build relationships that further their goals and development. This happens through church, community, and school related contact and events.
