Compartment Integration Design Engineer - Autonomous (Warren, MI) July 2018 – Present • Integrate Roof Modules Compartment for vehicle production program through merging the needs of engineering and design studio via NX & Teamcenter VisMockup to produce a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle • Lead compartment integration cross-functional team meetings to ensure that all stakeholders were aware of each change and to utilize Brute think to solve issues Mass Integration Engineer for HD Trucks (Warren, MI) February – June 2018• Advise senior vehicle program team leadership on mass-related decisions including certification, emissions, and the competitive segment.Vehicle Performance Integration Engineer • Led international vehicle program to mitigate Squeak & Rattle issues to ensure that our customers receive the best product • Supported Noise, Vibration & Handling team through vehicle testing on MPG roads, Component Simulator and Road Simulator to deliver the best vehicles to Media Drives across the country • Organized vehicle programs, media drives, Quality Assessment vehicles, as well as Problem Resolution and Tracking System to secure understanding and methods to resolve recurring issues Design Release Engineer – Plastic Seat Components (Warren, MI) July 2016 – June 2017• Implemented a containment design for current production haptic motor due to warranty issues, which saved the company $2.5 Million• Led Peer Review Assessments for the haptic motor to ensure company best practices were followed • Generated document in partnership Johnson Electric for the haptic motor to assure that potential failure modes were understood by all parties • Created and published documents to capture potential failure modes for the haptic and the Lap Pretensioner Cover based on design changes• Supported the facilitation of seat ventilation, haptic location, and easy slide effort clinics to obtain customer feedback on GM products
