I am an Accountant and Tax Agent for micro to small entities licensed to file Financial Statements and Corporation Tax Returns in line with accounting standards to Companies House and HMRC. As a Financial Controller for Transmission Investment, I have led and managed financial control, reporting and analysis implementing new processes and procedures to streamline and improve monthly and quarterly financial reporting to senior management. I also possess experience preparing and implementing a three-year financial model for the TI group of companies providing comprehensive financial data and analysis primarily targeted on the group’s strategic objectives and KPIs. Throughout my career I have overseen general accounting activities including period end close, management reporting, treasury and cash flow management. I have undertaken responsibilities of reporting to and supporting the finance and management committees including devising financial models, forecasts and budgets, evaluating the future profits, tax liabilities, dividends and priority profit share payments of investments. I have managed general accounting activities including VAT, CT, payables, receivables, and payroll where I am able to ensure financial control is maintained at all times.I have strong interpersonal and communication skills where I work well across multiple teams and departments including budgeting, forecasting and providing financial support and guidance. I have enjoyed working in a challenging role where the breadth and depth of responsibilities contribute to the success of the organisation.
