• Deputy team leader in Lyostable manufacturing and QC of all lyophilised products. Involved in planning of manufacture and troubleshooting of customer complaints.• Conduct QC’s (such as functionality of lyophilised products, MEA, DNA amplification, dye: protein, fluorimetry, UV, HPLC and PCR) on manufactured products and dispensing of Lyostable and Cy- Dye products to maintain product quality and ensure customer satisfaction. • Cell assays on various cell lines (Cardiomyocytes, BHK, Cho- M1, Hela and U20S cells) for customer orders and QC testing of GE products. This has enabled me to learn new skills to successfully carry out the tests. • Managing physical inventory checks and maintaining a good inventory standard within various departments. • Trained on Oracle, Magic and have the ability and training to write ECR/ECO’s, deviations and carry out validation reports to address customer complaints and development of a NPI (such as Lyostable, SCG Phi etc.).

• Researching stem cells in therapies in association with Swansea University, Sir Martin Evans in Cardiff University (Evans Laboratory) and Professor Andrew Dick at Bristol University. • Perform experiments, assay development, differentiation analysis, antibody testing and staining protocols for different platforms including microglial and mesenchymal stem cell isolation and expansion from bone marrow and cord blood. • Assisting in protocol writing, project planning, drug development, experimental set-up and writing reviews for various projects. Completing laboratory notebook and updating online notebook. • Schedule 1 and Animal Handling training completed November 2011. Cell Dyn Ruby, cell separation protocol and basic FACS training completed April 2012.
