My role involves all aspects of sport development including competition management, club support, coach education, funding and events organisation with a main focus on increasing the provision of women and girls' cricket across the county. This role involves working with a number of volunteers and thus, forming strong relationships with clubs and individuals is paramount.Year-round, I am responsible for introducing and marketing various initiatives and programmes including winter cricket hubs, women's soft ball festivals, girls' competitions and coach education programmes. Recruiting participants for the above is a welcomed challenge. Long term I am aiming to build upon the number of clubs currently providing a women and girls' offer in the county and likewise increase the female workforce to support the delivery of this.

Current head coach of the Under 13s girls county age group squad for Warwickshire CCC and assistant to U11s and U15s girls having previously worked with boys district squads during festival weeks and supported the junior emerging players programme. 1-1 coaching sessions also conducted for a number of these players I work with.

Overseeing the delivery of junior coaching to include: all stars programme for 5-8 year old, Cricket DNA scheme for 4-7 year olds, U9s,10s,11s,12s & 13s team coaching. Part of this role involves not only delivery of both hard ball and soft ball sessions to a range of abilities but also supporting new coaches on their journey into coaching. Management of volunteers on top of administration and liaising with parents and sponsors is also crucial.

Working on apprenticeship and traineeship projects with a number of private coaching providers, football clubs and sport foundations from meeting with employers to discuss requirements to recruiting the appropriate candidates for the projects. My role involved managing relationships with a number of partners including the college whom were our main funding provider, relationships with tutors and also the large number of past and current employers.

Experience working with Microsoft Excel and accounting (Iris) software alongside use of database programmes, producing final account documents and managing communications with clients. Meeting with clients to discuss specifics was a key part of this role which I enjoyed.
