I am a dependable and collaborative professional with experience in taking vital signs, patient education, Cerner and Epic documentation, and client care. My experience includes being a cadet on my local first aid squad in high school which helped me find my passion for helping people and experience educating the community. I also had the opportunity over the summer to become a student nurse extern on the pediatric unit of St. Josephs's University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. That experience taught me how to build strong relationships with my peers and utilize critical thinking skills. After the externship ended, I was offered a job as a Patient Care Associate in which I continued to learn and thrive in the hospital setting. In every one of my jobs, I’ve been credited as someone my colleagues could rely on. I take pride in my work which makes me a diligent employee. Beyond this, I am well-versed in pinpointing client needs, implementing effective interventions, and ensuring superior care. Throughout my prior employments, I have excelled in providing a great customer experience by focusing on little details as well as overall performance. This is shown in my previous position as Self Checkout Attendant at BJs Wholesale Club and my current position as a Patient Care Associate. I am proactive and always willing to step up and challenge myself professionally. Moreover, I am a team player and always willing to aid in any way I can.
