With PRIME I applied knowledge of the planning process and leading expectations for climate-ready sustainable development to a range of public and private sector projects. Significant experience managing projects and client and partner relationships. Project highlights include official plan strategic recommendations and policy directions for Ontario municipalities, circular economy framework and policy development, integrated community sustainability planning, green development standards, environmental assessments, housing strategy development, and development of research reports on climate-ready innovations and best practice development.

As a Community Ambassador, I worked with the LURA team to engage with residents on urban development projects. LURA hosts community meetings and unique public events to engage resident in conversations about their local knowledge and proposed developments. As a Community Ambassador, I provided neutral and factual information about the status of urban development projects, listened to residents' thoughts, concerns and feedback, and relayed this feedback to clients to guide and inform development projects.

I served as Co-Executive of the RUaPlanner program for the 2019-2020 academic year. RUaPlanner plans, facilitates, and hosts workshops in high school classrooms across Toronto with the assistance of professional planners and Ryerson planning students during World Town Planning Week every November. The purpose of our programming program is to inspire city-building and civic engagement values for youth. Our team successfully secured funding from Ryerson's Faculty of Community Services to include additional program in line with RUaPlanner's mission to improve the inclusivity of the program. With this funding, we hosted our first Youth City Lab at Ryerson in October 2019 for over 60 high school students where we successfully hosted an interactive day of activities and learning about city-building. We recruited Ryerson students and professional planners to engage with students at this event. RUaPlanner also co-hosts the annual 1UP Conference with Urban Minds, which invites youth to a day-long conference to learn about city-building through a speaker series and design jam. I was involved in the planning and facilitation process for the 2019 and 2020 1UP Conference. This involved securing a venue, catering, and speakers for the event as well as recruiting facilitators and ensuring the day ran smoothly for youth participants.

Graduate Assistant for Ryerson's School of Urban and Regional Planning Introduction to Planning Theory (PLG 500) course. Demonstrated thorough understanding of the history of planning theory as it relates to today's practice.

With ASI, I gained experience conducting stages 2-4 archaeological survey and excavation throughout southern Ontario in accordance with Ontario's Standards and Guidelines for Consultant Archaeologists.

I completed an internship with Evergreen Brickworks as part of my Masters education. At Evergreen, I worked on projects that accelerated inclusive innovation in Canadian cities through collaboration among city builders across Canadian municipalities. This primarily involved performing research and preparing research briefs for the team and providing editing and design recommendations for Evergreen reports. I was also fortunate to be involved with the Community Solutions Network's first Idea Camp on open smart cities in Ottawa. Among other roles at the Idea Camp, my most enjoyable experience was facilitating a table of professionals through discussions about challenges and solutions in their communities.

Along with my colleague, I performed a gap-analysis to assess how our school could better support the diverse staff and student population. I was responsible for providing academic and technological support to teachers and students in our Student Resource Centre as well as developing solutions and programs to transition our staff and students into the use of new and relevant learning platforms.

I enjoyed summers as a university student working with the City of Mississauga's Parks Division. I learned about horticulture care, turf management, and invasive species mitigation. Most valuable however, was observing and engaging with people who use our city's parks and witnessing first hand the ways that parks bring different people together.

As a Peer Guide with the International Student Centre at UWO, I provided ongoing guidance and assistance to international and exchange students studying at UWO. This involved connecting students to outlets of financial, social, and academic support and organizing events for international and domestic students to come together. In doing so, we facilitated cross-cultural understanding between UWO and London's international and domestic communities. As a Team Leader, my role was intensified as I supervised and lead a team of Peer Guides. This required me to provide support to a group of international and exchange students in addition to mentoring fellow Peer Guides. This involved coordinating larger group events as well as providing recommended courses of action to Peer Guides whose Peers were experiencing discrimination, homesickness, or other sensitive issues.
