About Nadia Holstege

Currently finishing my master study in the field of material science, with my main interests in sustainability, polymers and specifically rubber recycling. My master thesis entails the recycling of rubber by thermomechanical devulcanization with a chemical aid. I am involved with the Elastomer Technology & Engineering group at the University of Twente and an especially interested in a career in polymer recycling or process engineering after graduation.Besides the content of my study, I have experience with laboratory equipment relating to mechanical testing and data analysis, rubber compounding, vulcanization and devulcanization. Furthermore I have experience with Lean Six Sigma and the implementation of Design of Experiments.
