My research explored the use of detection technology to measure physiological changes at the interface between the human body and seat surface to fathom its usefulness in the healthcare setting. My education and employment background have provided me with clinical, practical skills to develop fundamental knowledge in medical applications to support the human body across a broad range of areas. As a result I have developed key skills which are: • Experienced in teaching and managing research projects to an MSc. Level• Strong Interest in teaching and training.• Able to efficiently collect and analyse very high volumes of data. • Experience in oral, poster presentations and journal publications.• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and SPSS.• Experienced in conducting long term physiological experimentation : sitting tests on healthy volunteers.• Self-motivated: able to work independently and within a team.• Experienced in long term calibration of physiological sensors and equipment that is traceable to National standards.

Clinical Researcher (Ph.D.)Clinical Technology And Diagnostics Research Unit 2009 - 2014University Of South WalesPh.D. research encompassed the amalgamation of two fields: healthcare and engineering. This explored the use of detection technology to measure physiological changes at the interface between the human body and seat surface to fathom its usefulness in the healthcare setting. The quantitative (empirical, in vivo and long term periodic calibration of technology) and qualitative (public engagement) research experience gained has allowed me to acquire the ability to conduct a broad scope of research. Co-supervised two MSc. students from the Faculty of Advanced Technology, University of South Wales. Both projects were related to my research.
