Nadia Prescher joined SaveLive as Head of Music in 2021. The vision of the SaveLive network is to support independent music venues.Nadia Prescher is also one of the founders of Madison House, Inc. Originally founded in Athens, Georgia, Madison House (now based in Boulder, Colorado), provides management and booking services for an eclectic roster. For years, Prescher and Madison House collaborated on a web of independent sister companies that specialized in event production, ticketing, merchandising, publicity, travel, design, and record distribution and marketing, all before the catch phrase “360 deal”. In April 2020, Prescher co-founded the non-profit coalition National Independent Talent Organization (NITO) with 13 other independent music business owners, which soon grew to membership of over 100 independent talent agencies and over 175 management firms. Their mission was to advocate for the survival of the independent live music community, as the nation and economy slowly recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Their work with Congressional leaders across the nation and specifically Washington, contributed to the Shuttered Venues Operators Grant, which allocated $16.2 billion dollars of funding to devastated eligible independent businesses. Prior, Prescher was the National Talent Buyer at The Patio (1000 cap) and Ludlow’s (650 cap) where she also assisted in the launch of Ludlow’s since its inception. In 1996, she moved to Athens, Georgia to collaborate and develop Madison House, Inc.Prescher serves the Board of Directors of the Rex Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization founded by members of the Grateful Dead and friends in the fall of 1983.She also serves the Board of Directors of HeadCount, a non-partisan, non-profit organization focused on voter registration and inspiring participation in democracy through the power of music. Personal notes: • She is a mother to two college students. • She enjoys motorcycles (old and new). • Prescher was a member of the United States Parachute Association and made 350+ skydives in the years of her membership. She hung up her skydiving rig in 2015. • Though Nadia Prescher is not a licensed counselor, she has been helping musicians with their drug and alcohol issues since 1996. She is honored to be a trusted, private and reliable resource for entertainers and those in the industry wanting to get clean and sober since the mid-nineties.
