Nadia H. Tonova is the Founder and Principal of NHT Consulting, a firm that empowers leaders and organizations to thrive through coaching and consulting. Prior to this, Nadia served on the leadership team of ACCESS, the nation's largest Arab American nonprofit organization, for over a decade. During this time she was responsible for numerous teams and coalitions, organizational strategies and visioning, capacity building, fund development, and the launching of new and innovative projects. She also has years of experience supporting small nonprofits across the country in organizational growth and development through her previous role as the Director of the National Network for Arab American Communities. She launched the Campaign to Take On Hate, a national grassroots campaign challenging bias and prejudice facing Arab and Muslim Americans, and was instrumental in launching MOVE, a national summit for social change. As a woman of color, community leader, speaker, and expert on numerous social justice issues, Nadia has a unique ability to support movement leaders and organizations. ​Nadia is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. She is an elected member of the Grosse Ile Township School's Board of Education. She was the founding Board Chair of Michigan United and a founding board member of Mothering Justice. She is a graduate of Leadership Detroit, the Rockwood Leadership Institute’s Yearlong Fellowship, and the Coaching Fellowship. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Theory from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in Near Eastern Studies from Wayne State University. She currently lives in the Metro Detroit region with her husband and three beautiful children.
