Department of Defense – Defense Telecommunication Services – Washington (January 2008 – December 2010)· Developed a portal solution to record progress and activity on the merger between DTS-W and Network Infrastructure Service Operations (NISO) departments. This helped facilitate the initial merger process between the two divisions.· Developed front-end customizations such as tabbed web parts, custom search filters for lists and libraries, and much more using jQuery and JavaScript.· Performed tasks outside of my expected skillsets. The tasks included releasing communication broadcasts to multiple departments, revision of process maps for business process SMEs, and developing organizational charts and designing web content using Microsoft PowerPoint. Department of Defense – Information Technology Agency (June 2009 – November 2010)· Collected requirements and business knowledge from multiple ITA leads to design and develop a pilot Knowledge Management Portal across ITA. The portal assisted departments in collecting business knowledge to prepare for a future merger with NISO. · Configured custom reporting tools for Division Chiefs to provide weekly reports to the ITA Executive Director.· Designed customized security permission groups and access as well as administrative support to the department’s Information Management Officer, Division Chiefs and Director.Department of Defense - Program Management Office (PMO) (September 2009 – November 2010)· Provided regular consulting and business analysis for development of technical solutions; negotiated the strengths and limitations of SharePoint 2007, 2010 and provided clients with strong, feasible solutions.· Developed and maintained dashboards and scorecards to show PMO team project status and growth. As there were no available data analytics tools, I developed custom solutions using jQuery and JavaScript Graphs.
