Marketing & PR role with a focus on Association business and industry support. Working closely with local and international associations planning their event or conference in Malta, to promote the destination, give incentives and support required. Coordinating advertising campaigns, managing and setting up the website, liaising closely with agencies, suppliers and offshore offices, assisting in participation in international fairs, producing marketing material, and also acting as a point of contact.

Destination Marketing in the UK with a special focus on the segments of history & culture, sports and diving tourism. Responsible for the planning and coordination of online and offline marketing plans, PR, as well as business development with travel operators across the UK & Ireland. Responsible for the planning and managing EU co-financed projects from idea generation to final claiming of funds. Various skills achieved including project management, proposal/ bid writing, planning and coordination, budgeting and control, reporting, PR, procurement, marketing planning and execution. Also involved in EU Affairs, mostly in the preparation of the official Maltese contribution for EU meetings and representing the country in tourism advisory meetings and events.
