The main goal of the YEP programmes is to offer young Dutch professionals the opportunity to gain experience abroad and to offer young local professionals the opportunity to gain experience with working in an international environment through Dutch organisations.The programme includes intensive training focused on professional and personal development, on-the-job coaching and access to a big network of (former) fellow YEPpers that are a valuable resource. As part of master thesis research at Wageningen University, evaluated the long-term impact of a CENDEP project promoting forest restoration, agroforestry and sustainable agriculture on people's livelihoods in two rural villages in the North-West Region using the sustainable livelihoods framework in a household survey.
