I am the Contract Administrator for Cardoza Plumbing Corp. as well the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. In my capacity as Contract Administrator, I review all contracts first then pass them onto our insurance broker, surety, attorney, estimator for scope of work review and finally, CFO for final review and signature. I advise general contractors of contract language modifications and work with them to reach our mutual goal of a fully executed contract. I complete Prequalification Forms with the Assistant Controller reviewing them. I submit completed applications to SWAC, and I am still a notary public.

In my role as Receptionist, my duties are varied. I take the office attendance, confirm and email to the office staff. Set up the Bills of Lading and Delivery Sheet for our driver to deliver various items to the field. Answer phones, transfer calls, email messages, all on as needed basis. Answer doors. Accept packages and keep a log of everything received.I also have responsibilities as an Administrative Assistant. These include typing up estimates and proposals. Updating the project manager's meeting minutes.

Employed by Cardoza Corp as receptionist beginning 5/18/1998. Became Administrative Assistant to Chief Executive Officer approximately 2002. Worked as liaison between Estimating Department, Chief Executive Officer and general contractors focusing on meeting deadlines, typing estimates, proposals and diligently checking everyone's math. Provided administrative backup to Project Manager(s). Responded to all estimating emails or phone calls whether or not we were bidding on the projects. Also a Notary Public.
