• Managing the Research and Development Department that entails all team members are efficiently working on all delegated tasks to ensure all project assistance and deliverables are met.• Responsible for the Line Management of the Library Assistant to support the Artist and Supplier Library Research function.• Implementing a CRM software to align with the company needs.• Extensively research, seek out and build meaningful relationships with new and existing artists, suppliers, manufacturers, and materials managing the library and sharing information with the team in an engaging and resourceful way.• Support Directors with the new project proposals to ensure we use your artist knowledge to have a strategic approach to the thought process and identification of appropriate artists within the project budget.• Stay up to date with market trends and keep abreast of local, regional, and international art fairs, exhibitions and industry events and represent Capsule Arts when attending by networking and gathering relevant information to be shared with the team.• Push originality of artist selections in projects by establishing the direction for artist research requirements based on the curatorial concept, curation, and procurement strategy.• Apply strategic thinking to ensure we are proposing viable artists for projects. To this end, lead negotiations with artists to encompass production strategy as well as pricing, maximising artistic output, budgets, and profit margins.• Assist Art Director in facilitating learning and development of the project team.• Create and drive relationship building opportunities through a series of marketing and communications activities, including but not limited to; blog posts, mailers, special projects, and events involving artists in order to shape the Capsule Arts brand and offering within the industry.• Working with the Directors to devise and plan special projects such as Collabs X, exhibitions, artist residencies and more.

• Liaising with artists on commissioned artwork to ensure client budgets and expectations. • Updating, cataloging and maintaining information and descriptions in a company library on resources of artists and suppliers.• Extensively research and seek out new artists, suppliers, manufacturers and materials and share information with the team in an engaging and resourceful way.• Supporting and advising the creative team in selection and use of curatorial narratives, artists and art concepts.• Keeping abreast of the local, regional and international art fairs, exhibitions and industry events and representing Capsule Arts when attending by networking and gathering relevant information.• Assisting Art Director in facilitating learning and development of the creative team.• Creating and driving marketing and relationship building opportunities through special projects in order to shape the Capsule Arts brand and offering within the industry• Maintaining a constant blog and social media schedule including artist interviews, exhibition reviews and other engaging and relative content.

•Oversee all administrative tasks, maintain gallery’s website, image database, and social media to keep content up to date and promote exhibitions and gallery artists.•Curate and prepare exhibitions; responsible for the selection and arrangement of artworks, liaising with the artists, and generating 3D renderings of exhibitions.•Liaise with press contacts to maximize exposure for gallery artists and exhibitions; schedule interviews with critics, publications, and online media.•Responsible for the design and production of all printed media published by the gallery.•Coordinate Gallery’s participation in art fairs including writing proposals, compiling materials for applications, organizing shipping of artworks, and providing assistance on-site at art fairs; recent art fair travel includes FIAC’s (OFF)ICIELLE, Independent Brussels, Frieze London and Art Dubai. •Act as the designated point of contact for existing and potential clients, fielding client interest and liaising between clients and the Gallery to ensure that all client needs were met.

• Assist clients by properly handling and providing access to the artwork on view in the galleries including sculpture, decorative objects and jewelry. • Record all bids electronically during live auctions; monitor auctioneer and properly register results.• Organize incoming mail from clients requesting appraisals of artworks and objects for upcoming auctions.

• Researched and contacted clients in Europe and North America that supported future sales initiatives. • Researched potential luxury brand clients and their advertising techniques, including the latest news, their collaborations with artists and role during world wide fashion weeks; presented findings to management.• Created proposals using Adobe and Microsoft programs for online advertising strategies used to pitch to target clients.• Developed documents for the sales team that include business intelligence such as client summaries, bran information and any other relevant factors that are used prior to client meetings.

• Installed and de-installed exhibitions, carefully wrapping and unwrapping the artwork and placing it in the basement. • Creating Price lists, image lists and other relevant documents for exhibitions that were placed in the gallery for viewers and emailed to current and potential clients interested in the work.• Performed front desk tasks including greeting and speaking to viewers, answering phone calls and ongoing office duties. • Retrieved/inputted data from/into ArtBase to manage all aspects of the business.Updated social media daily including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, successfully increasing online traffic. • Completed fair applications and created digital booth models on Sketchup and inDesign for Volta Basel, Untitled Miami and Shanghai Art Fair. • Designed the catalogue for the Entang Wiharso exhibition including essays, images of the artwork and CVs.
