• Internship at International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Asia Region, based in the IUCN offices of Bangkok, Colombo and Hanoi. My time in Asia Region covered many activities. Below, I provide a few highlights:
• In Thailand​, I was asked to help plan for, as well as participate in, a workshop on ‘Building River Dialogue and Governance’ (BRIDGE) – an IUCN project working on hydro-diplomacy on shared river courses.
• I was also asked to support the Asia Region Social Media Unit providing support for IUCN Asia’s Facebook, Twitter and website presence.
• In ​Sri Lanka, ​I was responsible for the​ ​formulation and delivery of a project on youth empowerment and nature conservation.
• In ​Vietnam, ​following field visits, I supported a team developing the second phase of a nature conservation grant to be funded by Coca-Cola.
