This role comprised managing teams to run multiple processes from full risk analysis, financial modelling / valuation, due diligence and structuring to negotiation and legal documentation. I also ensured compliance with all financial transactions and funding arrangements, evaluated risk and identified risk management measures, and researched and analysed businesses, industries and markets, staying abreast of market trends.In this role, I was recognised as part of one the top M&A funding teams of mid-market transactions having undertaken many of the funding structures for the leading New Zealand private equity firms of that time, as well as for many domestic businesses. I also built a solid reputation for origination of new ideas and funding structures, i.e. the natural products industry, which supported our ability to position and fund major M&A activity in these sectors.I acheived an 'outstanding' performace rating, in five of the six years years as well as selected as one of 100 Westpac Platinum Achiever Awards for three consecutive years as well as in exclusive other years and been awarded one of the top awards in one of those years. -
