Between 2006 and 2009, I served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Underground Communication Research Laboratory (LRTCS-UQAT). During this period, I conducted pioneering research in wireless communication technologies for underground mining environments. Collaborating closely with industry leader Newtrax Inc., I contributed to a comprehensive benchmark study to assess the performance and suitability of various wireless communication solutions tailored for the unique challenges of underground mining operations.As a postdoctoral researcher, I played a pivotal role in planning and executing real-world experiments within underground mining settings. This hands-on involvement allowed me to collect and analyze valuable data, providing critical insights into the performance and reliability of different wireless communication technologies in these demanding environments.Utilizing the findings from our study, I prepared detailed technical reports that effectively communicated the results and implications to our research team and industrial partners.
