As a community organizer, I work to build and advance the skills of our parent leaders through rigorous, ongoing training and coaching. I plan and execute community meetings and workshops to engage families around the importance of high expectations, parent-school partnership, and other strategies key in developing and supporting a successful student.

• Advocate for quality healthcare by lobbying members of Congress in the strategic TN district• Coordinate and manage campaign development and events • Prepare press releases, arrange press events, meeting /campaign material, and expense reports• Initiate and maintain positive working relationships with volunteers, businesses, media, clergy, grassroots /grasstops leaders, and city officials• Assist in organizing volunteers for canvases and phone banks • Calculate campaign expenses and keep accurate accounting for paid canvassing efforts • Schedule and facilitate meetings, trainings, and evaluations
