Building awesome products and platforms in the complex IT/(I)OT-covergence domain

PO/PM of a recently established cross-functional development squad doing trunk-based development, experimenting and at a fast pace continuously delivering new and awesome features, that enable our premium customers to easily and conveniently trade cars via our auction platform. As the PO/PM of this squad I’ve established a new product domain, which in part has consisted of discovering, scoping and migrating existing features and solutions from legacy systems (strangler fig pattern). Hence, the product domain consists of both brownfield and greenfield initiatives. As part of my work, I am experienced in- Collaborating with UX designers and SMEs on generating high level documentation of the existing parts of the product domain (e.g. undocumented user flows), as well as developing new and intuitive user-centric solutions. - Collaborating with key stakeholders on defining product vision and strategy, so that it aligns with overall company goals. - Defining and continuously reviewing product roadmap, adjusting the course and prioritization of initiatives according to user and customer feedback and market demand. - Breaking down and slicing new initiatives to features and stories to optimize value generation and enable fast feedback loops.- Establishing tools for and utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions, measure product performance, and identify areas for improvement.- Facilitating and collaborating on rolling out cross-organizational GTM initiatives.I also have the de facto role of being an Agile Coach/Tribe Leader of our tribe (50+ people).This means that I drive and facilitate, together with the tribe leadership team, the organizing and transformation of our amazing rapidly-scaling organization from doing old-school project oriented development to agile product oriented development.

I am part of a small, dedicated development team at ScanCommerce, focusing on the (agile) development of eSeller Cloud, a cloud-based e-commerce solution.As part of the development team I manage product development from concept to release - this includes:- Planning roadmap, sprints and releases, managing features and dependencies in and across releases. - Managing the product backlog, curating ideas, wishes and features. - Defining and managing user stories for development, articulating business and customer value.- Providing internal and external consultancy, being the go-to person when deep product expertise is required.- Bridging gaps within the company between different functions, e.g. ERP consultants, sales, developers and support.This is where I first experienced (in practice) the concept of working agile, and this is what sparked my ever-since great interest in agile WOW and the great impact that this has on a teams ability to deliver business and customer value.As I have been working in the eCommerce software industry for several years, I have deep knowledge of all aspects of eCommerce businesses and requirements, both in B2C and B2B/B2A segments. In 2019 ScanCommerce was sold to leading nordic omni-channel retail provider, Fiftytwo.
