• Oversee NOC/ CSA operations including supporting corporate customer clientele with technical incident resolution, monitoring, alerting & escalations.• Managing & handling escalations, further escalation of more complex issues to the core level Engineers & consult with Engineers, Sales Team & customers.• Identify areas of process/ efficiency improvement within the department, recommend prioritized enhancements & oversee implementation.• Define/ enforce configuration management, change management & operational policies/ practices.• Command/ coordinate during major service Interruptions & update the immediate management of the department's operation & corporate customer clientele concerning networking.• Manage projects & aid Core Network Infrastructure team infrastructure migrating requests & review/ approve corporate client SLA & credit refunds. • Review charges incurred by 3rd party wholesale suppliers & approve/ dispute where necessary & ensure services provided runs fine without interruption.• Engage with the Technical Team Lead/ Senior Team to ensure system requirements/ procedures are implemented & carefully pursued.• Engage in correlate tasks with other BUs within the organization/ suppliers to ensure all technical/ non-technical needs are met in line with business needs.• Assist the HR with hiring Engineers to ensure effective department operation & carryout performance reviews of all team members.• Overseeing all administrative tasks of the team, such as new recruit induction, employee reviews, attendance/ leave & time sheets.

• Perform troubleshooting for data (SHDSL, Ethernet over Copper, Fibre, wireless & ADSL) & VOIP services provisioned for Exetel’s corporate client base & problems associated with servers such as DHCP, DNS, e-mail, Web & FTP.• Remotely log into client premise equipment (multi-vendor routers & firewalls) & analyze device logs to review root causes for any reported issues & perform required maintenance tasks or configuration changes on the networking equipment to rectify the reported issues. • Liaising with the wholesale/ upstream service providers to rectify any issues identified on their networks affecting the performance of the services.• Discuss/ gather/ analyze info on client requirements perform required changes or configurations such as end to end QOS, access control lists, VLANs, wireless connectivity, dynamic & static NAT/ DHCP as planned during outage windows.• Analyze client requirements & advise on link failover/ active backup setups for critical network equipment to maintain high network availability, infrastructure improvements & upgrades or issues.• Design, plan & deploy VPN solutions to provide secure/ encrypted inter location communication by configuring IPSec, GRE, DMVPN Tunnels & migrating existing legacy VPN customers to the MPLS VPN network as well as providing secure remote access to telecommuters. • Monitor/ manage Exetel’s core network while performing configuration changes/new configuration.
