Manage a team of developers + analyst + UX designer to support and upgrade products that showcase the journalism, advertising and marketing efforts of PMN. Report to the Director of Digital Development.

Integration and implementation of tools, products and design utilizing Clickability's (Upland Software) content management system. Shepherded team efforts into a weekly deployment cycle. Development projects include: transition from prior CMS; two major redesigns; and incorporation of ad serving platforms, tracking metrics and registered users.

Produced print page layout and design of daily and weekly Features/Entertainment sections, as well as streamline design standards and delivery of print assets from publishing system to online presentation.

Developed HTML/CSS templates for enterprise content management system used by 32 Knight Ridder newspaper properties; supported creative direction of design and branding deliverables, from concepts to cross-browser compatible code.

Designed graphics and user interface for editorial projects on bilingual (Spanish/English) news website. Collaborated with software programmers to improve PHP-based content management system; oversaw redesign of HTML templates to optimize performance.

Designed and produced online presentations for newsroom editorial projects, as well as redesigned classified products to improve user experience. Projects were initiated with scoped requirements and deployed within a month's timeframe.

Researched and collaborated with ethnic and community newspapers in the Bay Area concerning their media coverage and staffing needs through the Community Press Consortium, a project sponsored by SFSU's Center for Integration and Improvement of Journalism.

Coordinated projects and initiatives geared toward progressive news journalism and media democracy. Non-profit media institute research included: diversity in alternative newsweekly staffing; fairness and accuracy in mainstream media news reporting.
