Graduated with a first-class grade in Mechanical Engineering at Lancaster University. I chose this degree to learn the processes to design and manufacture of products and also develop my teamwork and communication skills applying these to engineering projects. I am looking to pursue opportunities in the industry as a graduate to enhance and develop my skills and my desire to learn from others around me. Ideally following my passion for automotive/motorsport-related industries nationally and internationally. Being involved in the Formula Student project has developed skills that are useful in industry, working through critical safety systems for driver protection to developing the aerodynamics package of the car has given me a huge learning experience in both design and manufacturing throughout the project.Projects I have been involved in throughout my time at university include:Box beam, IMechE Design, Wind Turbine Design, Internal Combustion Engine, C Programming with tutorials, Battery and power electronic modeling, Cruise Control, Arduino coding, Robot following a line, Engineering in Business Fellowship, Jet Engine, CFD analysis with ANSYS Fluent, Modelling and Simulation of Electric Powertrain (Dissertation), Vibration Analysis, Presentation of Composite processes, Formula Student (4th Year Group Module), Loft-E Design and Analysis (industrial project), Critical analysis of commercial turbines, Actuator selection of automated systems and Systems Approach to Systems Design of vehicle incident analysis system. As a sim-racing engineer for the Williams Esports team, I am learning the motorsport skills and tools used by race engineers in real life to aid professional drivers in improving their setup and performance. Projects such as Le Mans Virtual Series and F1 Esports have helped me learn about race strategy preparations, race spotting, race reports, and driver development. I have used MoTeC for setup analysis and driver development pre-event. For the live race, I have utilised industry-used race timing software has been used to track live race data for strategy analysis and mid-race strategy changes.

Engineering StudentLancaster E-Racing May 2019 - Jul 2021Tasked with providing supporting brackets for the critical components of the Formula Student car mid 2019 such as cooling, steering and pedals. Worked on modelling and simulating the Formula Student powertrain to understand the performance expected to be delivered by the electric motor as part of the 3rd year dissertation from 2019-20. Finally in 2020-21, worked on designing and improving the driver safety features as well as designing uprights and their respective brackets, the dashboard for driver interface and aerodynamics package. With the aerodynamics, simulations were carried out using CFD to understand the airflow of the aerodynamic device and predict the downforce and drag produced by the wings in relation to the car as it travels forward. -
