I started out as a desktop support temp for Old Mutual and slowly worked my way up into a permanent position as a IT Support Specialist within IT Security. I later found that I really wanted to become a software engineer and build some of the tools we were using at the company. I then joined Wethinkcode_ and began my journey of becoming certified as a software engineer and developing the skills needed to work within a software dev team. In my spare time I approach small businesses and offer to help them bring their business into the 21st Century with IT solutions and online facilities that they might currently lack. I've built several custom websites as well as on Content managment systems like Wordpress and Joomla
