With over 16 years of experience as a medical assistant I at UC Davis Health, I provide high-quality care to patients in both primary and specialty settings. I am a certified medical assistant (CMA) with additional certifications in Covid-19 contact tracing, Nanosonics Trophon 2, and basic life support. I am proficient in using Microsoft PowerPoint and applying business analytics and insights to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the health care delivery system.Besides my clinical duties, I am also passionate about DEI volunteerism and advocacy. I have participated in various initiatives and events to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the health care sector and beyond. I have also mentored and trained new and aspiring medical assistants from diverse backgrounds and supported their professional development and career advancement. My mission is to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of the communities I serve.
