Hi there…  thanks for dropping by.I am on a personal mission to get people to focus on their mental health. I believe this can bring a positive change in their lives and help them live their best possible life!A little about me…..I have always had this strong desire to be a catalyst for people to live peaceful and happy lives. This desire has led me to take paths that are lesser travelled. It has also got me to wear multiple hats – as a Laughter Yoga Trainer, a Wellness Therapist, a NLP Practitioner, a Taichi Practitioner and a Reiki Healer. For a long time now, I have also been associated with a non-profit organization AKDN Foundation, where I have worked towards improving the quality of life of individuals from the Agakhan Shia Muslim Community. The single thread that runs through all these endeavours has been better mental wellness for the people I have come in touch with.Before embarking on this path, which is now a passion for me – I worked for 15+ years in corporate sales – selling everything from Shampoos & Conditioners to Newspapers to Rewards and Recognition programs to finally Training programs. It was while I worked with my last organization - FocusU Engage, selling training programs, that I had my Jerry Maguire moment in life.Working very closely with Business Heads, L&D teams and HR teams, I got to see first-hand how organizations were struggling to keep their workforce motivated. On the other hand I also got to see how employees struggled individually in handling stress and balancing their work-life. This was the insight that got me thinking about my calling and purpose in life: to help people by getting them to focus on their mental wellness. I use multiple techniques like Laughter Yoga, NLP, Taichi and Reiki, depending on what fits the situation best to help my clients handle their stress better and increase their quality of work output.It makes me so happy that many more organizations today are emphasising the mental health of their employees.
