Served in vessels ranging from 28000 to 85000 tonnage with a crew and passenger capacity of 800 to 4000.•Responsible for the complete security management on-board vessels and in the area around the vessel when in port. •Execution of the Ship Security Plan, all anti-terror measures on-board and in coordination with the forces of the country for areas around the vessel when in port.•Review and propose modifications to the ship security plan by considering various aspects of the ships operations at different ports.•Reinforced security mitigation measures on board and at ports in coordination with the security forces on ground.•Ensured adherence and execution of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and ensured the vessel security audits conducted by the Navy and Coast Guard was successful. •Perform bomb search drills and drug searches on board and during navigation at port.•Conduct regular inspections and security assessments at various ports of call. •Incident investigations and reporting of the same to the vessel’s command for required action.•Support during helicopter rescue of passengers in emergency when at sea and man overboard.•Surveillance and Intelligence measures on board.
