Tax Associate

Preparation of P&L schedules  Assists auditors for providing supporting documentation on statutory audit and Tax audit of all the 4 HP entities and helps them to understand the internal process of the company and clarifying the audit query  Analyzing TDS reports, whether TDS is deducted under proper section and category for audit purpose.  Analyzing GL report, whether expense is booked under proper category and make necessary adjustment in the books.

• Responsible for all Accounts Payable processes.• Managing the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices each month. Assessing and closing of A/P sub-ledger on a monthly basis, validating content and resolving various issues and queries.• Preparing the service tax report and sending the same to service tax team within HP.• Assisting in Month End Closing and Year end close.• Work closely with Auditors during bank and yearly audit.• Suggested process improvements to secure prompt and regular receipts for the organization.• Setup and maintenance of vendor details in the ERP system (SAP).• Daily interaction with vendors.• Research and resolve billing and invoice problems.
