Myself:As a graduate Marine Engineer with 11 years of enriched experience onboard various types of vessels up to a rank of chief engineer and 12 years of shore ship management division, I am currently working in senior management level as a Technical Manager with overall responsibility for safe & profitable operation of the Middle East fleet. I am enjoying working with Pacific Basin Shipping, a company owns and operates world's largest fleet of handy size bulk carriers.I am task focused, independent and analytical. I enjoy challenges and bring innovation to improve systems and procedures. My aptitude to spot trends in data helps me to run my fleet efficiently, cost effectively and without compromising with asset value. I lead by examples and have strong ability to motivate and lead team, in meeting challenging goals. I possess strong sense of urgency and an ability to multitask and prioritize. Managing and controlling the efficient operations 3 nos of self-unloader Panamax vessels ( so called moving factories) in PG region.Overall responsible for day-to-day operation, providing technical directions to vessels, crisis management, regulatory and class requirement compliance, maintenance, repairs, annual budgeting, cost control, monitoring, performance analysis, operational strategy & policy making, negotiating, approving supplies, planning, Dry-docking, crew performance, appraisals and approvals, KPIs etc for all the vessels under the fleet. Assisted by team of experienced and competent superintendents, engineers, deck officers, technical officers, purchasers, other floating staff and various vertical departments such as safety, quality, HR, accounts, crewing etc..
