Leading application and cloud infrastructure development for enterprise and mid-market experience applications.

Responsible for cloud infrastructure and services underlying Medallia's experience products. Driving engineering for IaaS, PaaS, Site Reliability, Production Systems, Scale and Performance for Medallia applications and AI driven solution. Direct owner for delivery of product to public cloud and to Medallia's private cloud hosted in datacenters world wide. Primary driver of resolution of customer escalations in addition to owning operations and engineering execution.

Responsible for all central development and engineering across Oracle Middleware, including development of cloud service lifecycle tools, delivery infrastructure, product integration, porting, testing and release. Oversaw development and delivery of Cloud and On-Premise Middleware products, spanning On-Premise 11g and 12c Application Grid, SOA Suite, Webcenter, Identity Management and System Management, as well as Cloud services such as Document Service, Java Service, Process Service and Mobile Service. Managed a globally distributed team of ~1100 engineers that cut across all aspects of software delivery cycles. Drove transition to agile methodology for software development and release across entire Oracle Middleware product portfolio.

Led Plumtree’s quality, performance, system and release engineering effort for enterprise software products including the Plumtree Portal, Collaboration, Content Management and others. Expanded the role of the QA team to include three QA teams, Release Engineering, Performance Engineering, Automation Engineering and System Engineering, including US and offshore teams. Standardized test practices and release process across the different QA and development teams. Championed quality among company management and represented the quality organization on the Plumtree Customer Advisory Board. Directly managed testing for several releases of Search, Collaboration, Studio and Content Servers for several releases. Evaluated vendors for and established offshore QA team responsible for major areas of product line testing.

Led NARUS’s productization and release engineering effort for software and hardware products for the network business infrastructure market. Was responsible for building up and managing four groups: QA, Configuration Management, Technical Publications and Systems Engineering. Defined process for every phase of the software product lifecycle and drove implementation of software release process. Defined manufacturing standards and worked with the operations team to implement manufacturing verifications tests to meet them. Mentored and motivated employees from diverse backgrounds into a highly effective and recognized team within the company. Managed all aspects of the department, including the $2.5M/year budget, and all personnel matters. Wrote test plans and test scripts as part of the platform testing team. Played a key role in engineering and company management.

Headed PowerTV’s testing effort for operating system and middleware products for the digital set-top TV market. Build up and headed Software Quality Assurance and Configuration Management organization. Established definitions and process in all product areas and at every phase of product lifecycle. From source code control to defect tracking to product support, was responsible for ensuring good engineering process. Wrote test plans for PowerTV OS1.5 and 2.x at the API and system level. Interfaced with third party application developers and OEMs during integration phases and System Verification Testing, and guided the resolution of issues. Contributed TV-centric stress tests at all levels in the PowerTV architecture.
