• Independently architected, engineered, and implemented an extension service to improve editing experiences in VS Code with certain programming languages.• As part of a 7 figure revenue generator for MSFT, restored a project related to VS Code with failing builds, tests, and infrastructure, where our team had lost all knowledge.• Fixed an arbitrary code execution vulnerability in .NET (Linux) within 3 months of joining on a tight deadline. Helped senior engineers merge their related security fixes on time into legacy versions of our codebase that could not be built locally.• Led design discussions and implementations by engaging partner PMs and several engineering teams to align gaps in Visual Studio and the .NET SDK. This included several breaking changes and key features for .NET 7 and .NET 8 related to publishing.• Drove growth for .NET in other regions by eliminating encoding and localization bugs that rendered the framework unusable in certain contexts outside of the English language.• Detected a bug from another team; that, with new changes and in production, would have broken all .NET MUSL customers. Increased visibility and worked with the team to ensure their fix made it by the deadline, preventing such an event.

• Built and designed a RESTful API using ASP.NET Core (C#) and OData, that securely exposes endpoints for an internal system for roughly 59 consumer teams and allows for a variety of custom filtering options, with heavy MOQ unit testing to ensure stability. • Used YAML and ARM Templates to create a CI/CD pipeline that builds, configures, deploys, and manages slots for the API automatically when pushes are made to ensure no downtime of the API occurs.

• Leveraged Jupyter Notebooks and NLTK to detect if a suicide hotline counselor question was answered/followed up on to improve counselor training, in the #1 liked internal hackathon project with an NGO to help LGBTQ+ youth.• Implemented a data auditing service that checks and sends alerts for investigation if data was lost in a transfer process from Cosmos DB to Azure Data Warehouse using C#, Azure Functions, and T- SQL queries. • Used PowerShell and Synapse Analytics to automatically time and run queries using different distribution and sharding techniques, which was used to help speed up volume licensing query run times by an average of 56%.

• Fixed one of Snagit's top crashes, resolving deadlocks, race conditions, and other issues involving webcam sample handing in lower C++ recording libraries. • Created an automated webcam and microphone sync tester, that detects desync with an accuracy of 3 ms between specific recorded video and audio tracks for use in TeamCity's REST API. • Implemented a test harness in C++ that compares compressed frame's visual quality, which helped TechSmith select compression algorithms for Camtasia by outputting .json files with statistics, flagging low-quality frames. • Programmed a Python script that scrapes rendered webpages of employee timesheets using Selenium and Beautiful Soup, and displays a live clock to help employees efficiently record and track their time.

• Developed a prototype mobile banking application from start to finish using ActionScript, while designing a dynamic user interface.
