My tasks are: environmental, biological and food sample preparation for HPLC and HPLC-MS analysis.Quantitative analysis of several components by HPLC and HPLC-MS, evaluation of results, population of related documentation, monitoring of official limit values, preparation of result reports.

I have examined the ADME properties of test drugs submitted from different sponsors in cell-based uptake and efflux transporter systems. I have achieved a high routine in designing all assays and maintaining the appropriate cell lines. My work has been supported by local standard operation procedures, EMA and FDA guidance.

My key responsibilities included operative and management tasks: supervision of scientists and laboratory technicians, making the decision in technical and project-related issues, designing optimal capacity planning strategies; creating and implementing HR and individual improvement plans, interviewing and hiring new laboratory associates; theoretical and practical education of associates and organizing training for new entries; managing procurement including consumables and equipment

My project was to investigate the metabolism of drug candidates via cytochrome P450 enzyme family in mammalian microsomes, in hepatocytes, and on purified enzymes. I was also in charge of developing assays to monitor the induction of these enzymes in freshly isolated rat and cryopreserved human and mammalian hepatocytes.
