Revamped the station from one that played music from the 90s/retro onwards to one which plays current music targeted at a core audience. This was based on research done using Digital Music Testing.Created memorable programming benchmarks - Chote Ad Breaks (short ad breaks) - to promote the fact that the station played more music and had genuinely short ad breaks. This was backed up by creating clutter-free clocks and following a music policy. Once steady state operations were achieved, the focus was on institutionalizing the processes and mentoring the team and eventually working on a strategy that struck a balance between programming sensibilities and sales objectives.Regular operational required me to • Tapping into the exciting world of Bollywood to ensure celebrity visits and interviews• Coordinating with music companies in India to get quality music• Planning and execution of advertiser-funded campaigns.
