 Mission: Manage all purchasing for AB Plastic (production and non-production) by constantly driving suppliers towards improving Quality, Cost and Delivery levels.  Main activities Identify, audit, evaluate, select, qualify and integrate new suppliers in an international environment (Western and Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia) by integrating key criteria (technical content, cost, quality, capacity, risks…). Manage supplier relations and establish new partnerships with suppliers and sub-contractors, Freight forwarders Maintain business intelligence for identifying best in class suppliers and value added innovations  To collect and check the original shipping documents for submission to Customs and to make sure all documents are available before the arrival of goods at port.  Follow up with our clearing agents the status of all shipments under clearance and report it to the Operation Manager on daily basis  Prepare undertaking documents / Shipping guarantees to customs authorities in case of documents shortage or delay and follow up with the clearing agents to close it  Follow up with clearing agents until the arrival of goods ta our warehouse  Prepare the request for payment for clearing agents and advance payment for high value shipments  Maintain communications and strong relationships directly with international, domestic suppliers and manufacturers to confirm production schedules and ensure on-time deliveries.  Monitor and maintain our Master Report that keeps a check on material availability and delivery dates  Monitor and prepare reports to evaluate the performance of clearing agents and report it to Logistics manager. Follow up with the Warehouse Supervisor to give a report on the safety of the goods and confirmation that all is in par with the Purchase Order. And close the order.
