During the summer, I worked as a Data Engineering Intern at SITAV S.p.a., where I gained hands-on experience in developing and deploying web applications using .NET. My role involved leveraging Docker for containerization, which streamlined deployment and ensured environment consistency. I also worked with Kubernetes to orchestrate these containers, managing clusters, automating deployment, and scaling operations.The experience deepened my knowledge of data engineering, including agile methodologies, version control, and collaborative team dynamics, equipping me with valuable skills for managing and scaling data solutions.

As a Database Administrator, I managed and maintained SQL Server databases, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance. I created and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, documented analysis results, and provided feedback for performance improvements. I implemented system enhancements, developed scripts for data integration, and resolved database issues to ensure stability. Additionally, I developed and maintained Crystal Reports, managed user profiles and access levels. I collaborated with colleagues on larger projects and trained end-users on SQL queries and reporting tools.
