Nahid Kazemi is an award-winning illustrator, author, and visual artist with 20 years of experience in publication. She has published over 70 children's books in Canada, the US, Europe, the Uk, China, and Iran. Her work is inspired by her personal life, Persian stories, classics like 1001 Nights, and Rumi's poetries. She has received the 2022Governor General's Literary Award in Canada for illustrating The Sour Cherry Tree written by Naseem Hrab and has been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. She combines personal and cultural themes through her stories, creating a bridge among nations.
