• Organize yearly community cancer screening events• Lead fundraising efforts to support cancer support groups • Facilitate monthly support groups for newly diagnosed patients and families• Creating original content highlighting NGO initiatives and events• Event organization and organizational structure formation• Grant searching and writing • Supported the Executive Director in developing a strategic plan and conducting community needs assessment

Provide compassionate nursing care to 10-15 oncology patients per shift receiving chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and palliative servicesClosely monitor patient reactions and side effects to treatment, 2 reporting concerns to physicians to adjust care plansEducate patients and families on treatment regimens, side effect management, and post-discharge careEnsure safety protocols and infection control are followed when administering treatments
