As Division Officer of the Naval Medical Center San Diego Medical Transition Company my team and I coordinate the administrative plans for medical evacuation patients from overseas and local tri-service commands. After administrative plans are approved, patients are treated for mental health, terminal illness, and/or physical injury. Plans for patients to continue military service or transition to civilian sector are set-up accordingly. During my time at Medical Transition Company I have restructured the command policy, enhanced the patient intake process and regulations, and coordinated plans for a more patient-safe environment. Essential driver behind the creation of a hospital department because of the success at Medical Transition Company proven by the 50% decrease in patient population in the division.

Hand picked to be the Executive Assistant to USS Somerset Commanding Officer and lead an office of 15 administrative and personnel staff.De-conflicted the Commanding Officer's schedule, ultimately providing a vital role in maintaining future operations of a warship. My team and I produced and processed 2,000+ pieces of ship correspondence and 1,500+ pay transactions.

Hand-picked to be the Public Affairs Officer for a highly publicized, 9/11 commemorated ship. Served as the command spokesperson and liaison to television, radio, print and digital media outlets. Coordinated shipboard efforts for large-scale events such as the 2015 San Diego and San Francisco Fleet Weeks. Both events supported a combination of 16,000+ visitors and greatly enhanced public military awareness and general knowledge of U.S. Navy amphibious ships.Conducted 40+ delegations of high-ranking foreign and domestic military and civilian leaders on warship excursions. Planned tour routes and tour-script to enhance appreciation for the LPD-17 San Antonio ship class by imparting an understanding of amphibious warship modernization and enhanced flexibility in the areas of engineering, medical treatment and facilities, habitability, Navy and Marine Corps coordination, and logistics.

Served as the first Main Propulsion Division Officer on USS Somerset from pre-commissioned to commissioned and thereafter. Administratively responsible for the ship's major engineering spaces to include four 41,600 SHP diesel engines and five 2,500 kW diesel generators. Successfully led a division of 35 personnel through two major engineering assessments allowing the ship to depart on its first sail and prepare for the first deployment. Intensely reviewed and revised all main propulsion equipment standard operating procedures as part of certification preparation. Checked the daily operating logs of multiple pieces of engineering equipment.
