I have been teaching English for 12 years, and it has been an incredible journey! My passion for education dates back to when I used to play at teaching the alphabet to my cousins at the age of six. Teaching comes naturally to me, and I know I was born for it.Shortly after graduating in Literature, I decided to undertake voluntary work in England, and this experience was a real turning point in my life. There, I discovered my natural leadership ability while volunteering at the Camphill Village Trust. A year later, I changed my field of work: working as a barista in a café not only sparked my curiosity and passion for the world of coffee but also strengthened the innate leader within me. My organisation, work efficiency, ethics, and excellent communication with my team and customers earned me a quick promotion to the management position.Upon returning to Brazil in 2012, I resumed my journey in education, this time as an English language teacher. I love being in the classroom, whether in physical or digital spaces.I have taught English to students of all ages, from children to adults in the business world. I hold certifications from the University of Cambridge (CELTA, CAE, and TKT CLIL).Currently, I teach business English in the Access E2C and E2C+ programmes, which help young Black, Brown, and Indigenous people across Brazil to improve their language and professional skills. In this programme, I feel part of a great community and truly a change maker.I am passionate about education, teaching the English language, and human development, and I always strive to contribute to the personal and academic growth of my students.
