Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare student seeking to bring change to the American healthcare system. I firmly believe that every individual should have access to good quality healthcare. My ultimate goal is to find ways of reducing costs for both the patient and the healthcare organization while providing value-based care, putting the patients experience and providers performance at the forefront. With my background in Global Public Health, I hope to incorporate my knowledge to create programs and work with organizations that focus on positive health outcomes for each patient. Through my undergraduate years, I've conducted an analysis which is a mixed methods approach to understand health and lifestyle behavioral changes that myocardial infarction (MI) patients have taken since their first MI to prevent their second MI. With cardiovascular diseases being the number one killer globally, heart health needs to be encouraged in populations while also educating individuals on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
