CurrentReviewing Physician:Review of pre-placement and periodic exams for NPS and Wildland Firefighter applicants and incumbents as well as Return to duty exams for NPS employeesReview of pre-placement exams and consults for FPS applicantsReview of pre-placement exams for ICE applicantsReview of commercial pre-placement and periodic exams.Medical Review Officer:Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO): Review non-negative urine drug screen results for clients that include government and transportation agencies with federally regulated drug screen programs.Provide training and support to MROs and staff for drug screen review at two locations in Virginia and FloridaOther MRO duties include:Quality Control of Staff Reviews for DOT regulated negative urine drug screen results (monthly 5% Random Review).Review FRA post-accident drug screens results, Negatives and Non-negativesReview special drug testing cases, such as - shy bladder & shy lung casesReview Montana breath alcohol tests & Minnesota Blood Alcohol tests.Provide Quarterly Safety Referral report to clientTestify in court for client if drug screen cases are involved in litigation.Respond to FRA official queries about FRA post-accident Non-negative drug screens and DER queries about missing or delayed drug screen results.Supervise drug screen records pulled for FRA audit, check for completeness & accuracy, and meeting with FRA auditorsDevelop Shy bladder/ shy lung protocol handbook, templates for ODAPC letters (failure to reconfirm) etc.Troubleshoot ongoing problems in software applications used for drug screen MRO review with the help of IT personnel.
