I ran a series of workshops for Key Stage 2 pupils, focusing on research skills and interview skills including how to prepare questions and press conference etiquette.

I organised coverage of the London film and theatre scenes for one of London's leading listings websites. This involved working closely with other editors and marketeers in addition to managing freelance contributors and interns. I wrote daily features including, news, interviews, feautres and reviews. I was also responsible for running competitions.

Teaching English to teenagers and adults in UN schools and NGOs in refugee camps in south Lebanon. My position involved creating lesson plans and teaching materials as well as delivering lessons whilst living with Palestinian refugees.

Whilst working in the Children's Programmes department I created programme concepts, scouted locations, wrote scripts, script supervised, liaised with cameramen and sound engineers, supervised post-production, and created procedure manuals and databases. I was also responsible for tape cataloguing and managing volunteers.

During my internship I researched news stories, organisations, and individuals, selected and organised panellists and participants for daily News & Current Affairs programmes. I also liaised with and booked studios and presenters, created contact databases and produced weekly reports on the activities of the department.
