With over 17 years dedicated to people-centric roles, I've built a career around the development of people and the cultivation of transformative organisational cultures. As a leadership coach, my focus is on guiding CEOs and leaders (current and potential) to transcend their limiting beliefs, make better decisions, and nurture environments conducive for learning and growth.My tenure at Zomato Ltd, from 2011 to 2019, gave me the opportunity to wear many hats. I've worked across the spectrum from content to sales, and international expansions; and also lead the global communications mandate, recruited people across teams, and mentored engineering and leadership teams. While at Zomato, my coaching efforts were particularly geared toward helping people overcome the sunk cost fallacy, manage their time and energy, and optimise team leadership—all while amplifying the CEO’s bandwidth.During this period, I had the privilege of closely collaborating with Founder & CEO, Deepinder Goyal, and playing an integral role in shaping Zomato into a learning organisation. This chapter not only broadened my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the nuanced role that systems thinking, effective communication and active reflection plays in a company's growth and evolution. I also had the privilege of co-authoring a book on the Culture of Zomato, alongside Deepinder Goyal and Ashish Goel https://shorturl.at/hwTV0 in 2023.In 2019, I transitioned to independent leadership coaching, offering guidance to Zomato's leadership while extending my learnings to other organisations. Additionally, I helped navigate the integration of the non-profit Feeding India into Zomato's mission. Between 2020 to 2022 I worked closely with Albinder Dhindsa, Founder and CEO of Blinkit, and his team to steer the transition from Grofers to Blinkit. During this time, I briefly served as the Chief People Officer at Blinkit up to its acquisition by Zomato.Currently, my work focuses on embedding systems sensing and systems thinking practices into organisational cultures. I also conduct pro-bono workshops aimed at instilling robust Systems Thinking foundations across various sectors, having influenced over 500 educators and 100s of executives in India, the UAE, Portugal and Germany since mid-2023.I am committed to the ongoing journey of fostering adaptable, learning-oriented institutions and organisations, and equipping leaders (current and future) with the tools to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.
