Hello! I am a 19-year-old, full-time Year 2 Student at Singapore Polytechnic, currently following my dreams to be a perfect Cyber Analyst. Studying the course DISM (Diploma in Infocom Security and Management) has widen my point of view of the industry by a lot. Through the course, I have learned key technical skills such as Windows/Linux OS Administration, Front and Back-end Development of Websites and many more. With a burning passion for cybersecurity, I have dedicated myself to mastering the complexities of digital security and data protection. I have honed skills in network security, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and intrusion detection. Additionally, my experience through practical includes database management, cloud security, and incident response. I actively participate in projects and competitions that challenge my abilities and help me grow. My goal is to stay ahead of emerging threats and develop innovative solutions to protect against cyber-attacks. As I have chosen the five elective pathway in Singapore Polytechnic, not only will I be obtaining a Diploma in DISM but also receiving a Minor in Business Management. As people say, the best of both worlds; I will be further continuing my studies into a MAJOR diploma in Business Management Through my high school, I achieved high grades in my Cambridge IGCSE results and competed in many public and national basketball competitions for school as well as an individual. Since high school, I have also participated in Business Interventions and Cybersecurity talks.I'm eager to connect with professionals and peers who share my enthusiasm for cybersecurity and technology (also anything relating to Business), and I look forward to contributing to the field with my knowledge and skills.
